Need to contact an IHSS Social Worker?

The Department of Aging & Adult Services (DAAS) employs IHSS social workers. Call (415) 355-6700 to get a Social Worker or to be connected to your assigned Social Worker. After making a language choice, press 3 for the IHSS program, then press 2.

Are you eligible to become an IHSS Consumer?

DAAS social workers determine eligibility for IHSS. Call (415) 355-6700 to file an application. Make a language choice; press 3 for the IHSS program, then press 3.

In need of an emergency On-Call Provider?

Call your DAAS IHSS social worker at (415) 355-6700. The Public Authority must receive authorization (a referral) from a DAAS IHSS social worker before it can assign an On-Call Provider.
