Kelly Dearman resigns as SF IHSS PA Executive Director Posted on May 23, 2021

With mixed emotions we would like to announce that Kelly Dearman has accepted the mayor appointed position of Executive Director of Department of Disability and Adult Services (DAS), and will no longer be our leader at the Public Authority. Kelly has truly transformed the SF Public Authority during her seven years of service. She has influenced changes in San Francisco policies and other Public Authorities throughout California. We are grateful for her contributions and wish her all the best as she enters this new chapter. Deputy Director, Eileen Norman, will be stepping in as acting Executive Director. With her well of experience and strong leadership skills, we have no doubts that she will also serve us well. Registry & On-Call Program Manager, Eren Guttierez will take on the position of Deputy Director. She has extensive knowledge of the IHSS system and a true understanding of the needs of Consumers and Providers. A lot of big changes happening at the PA but we are all excited and looking forward to the future.
